Wind Monitor II Source Code

In this directory you can find the GPL'ed embedded source code for the Wind Monitor II. Note that in order to use this code and redistribute it or a derivative product you must follow the terms of the GPL license.

To compile you will need CCS's PCM compiler.

The Wind Monitor II will need to be programmed to if you want to program your own chip or modify the code. Because the PIC on the circuit board is surface mount, it cannot be easily removed and used with a normal programmer. You will need to use the In Circuit Serial Programming (ICSP) connector on the Wind Monitor II circuit board. We use microEngineering Labs EPIC programmer. Here is the diagram for connecting the EPIC programmer to APRS World's standard ICSP connector:
