This system is designed for use in areas that are served by AC line / mains
power. In the event of a power failure, the system will automatically switch
to internal batteries and continue to operate. The AC powered unit includes
eight alkaline D cell batteries, which will power the Wind Data Logger for
approximately 30 days without AC Power.
